There are times you want to send an email out the same day….just not RIGHT away. If you utilize Microsoft Outlook, you can actually pick a delivery time for each and every message.
Here’s how:
For Outlook 2007:
- Within the actual message, click on the “Options” tab
- Next, click on the “More Options” expansion button in the lower right corner of the current field
- Check mark the “Do Not Deliver Before” box
- Next, choose the delivery date and time you would like to have the email sent out
- Finally, click “Close”.
This is great! I use Outlook every day, and it was THE DISCOVERY for me when I found out about this option.
Today, it makes my life easier, when I plan to be out of office for some time. (biz trip, vacation, etc).
