In helping my husband clear out or clean up the garage after moving, I came across a few books that meant the world to me, but totally forgot about…until now. Inspiration Sandwich by SARK was one of those books. I had never come across a book so inspiring and colorful before. With all colors of the rainbow accounted for throughout the entire book and the text of the book itself written like a letter you would receive from a friend, how could you not be intrigued???
So, I picked up that book and read it from cover to cover…again. I still got inspired and loved every morsel of the book! The book is meant to inspire creativity and find the unique gifts that we all possess. At least, that’s what I got out of it. There were a few chapters that grabbed my attention. For instance: “Write More Love Letters” and “Allow Yourself to Feel Rich without Money.”
Write More Love Letters reminds us all to let our souls speak. To capture our thoughts and feelings and write them down to make them noticeable and visible. Love letters are meant to inspire and capture the true essence of our being. There are several creative ways to make love letters. I myself, have done a few of them…write a love letter with sidewalk chalk (thanks for letting me borrow your chalk, “K”) and create a love letter box. Everything with sentimental value between my husband and I goes in there. My hope is to one day create a collage and present it for a wedding anniversary.
Allow Yourself to Feel Rich without Money reminds us that you don’t have to have tons of money to feel rich. Family, friends, health, freedom, laughter (my favorite) and love are ALL riches that we all possess, now. Money is nice, don’t get me wrong, but it cannot buy those things I just mentioned. We all have the capabilities of creating our own riches. One day, my husband and I will get to Ireland…literally. But for now, learning all we can about the country and putting a wish list together of the places we would like to visit when we do get there, is good enough for now. The richness we experience is creating this dream together and the eventual fruition of it.
SARK’s other books will surely be revisited by me, as well. I would encourage all of you to take a look at her books and see what inspirations come your way!
