For a Dear Friend…KB

I found this quote and thought of you.  I know things have been tough lately and I wanted to let you know that I truly do admire you!  So much so that I have renewed my interest in wanting to be a bigger part of finding a cure for Alzheimer’s.  My family has already been impacted twice and I know yours has too!

“Sometimes our light goes out but is blown again into flame by an encounter with another human being.  Each of us owes the deepest thanks to those who have rekindled this inner light.”  ~motivational consultant Barbara Glanz, from her book The Simple Truths of Appreciation: How Each of Us Can Choose to Make a Difference

I might cry over this post! Alzheimer’s is such a wicked and cruel disease that it sometimes takes my breath away. But I know you know that. So the quote here is right on time. Thanks for sharing this, Jennifer:-) I needed it.

You are quite welcome, Karen. Everyone needs a little support from time to time. I’m glad I was able to inspire you, my friend! 🙂
